Scholarship Contest

GRM is a commercial property maintenance company serving Western Canada from BC through Manitoba. We believe in encouraging excellence and support this belief through our core values:

To further our commitment to the above core values we are proud to introduce our first scholarship contest for those currently enrolled in postsecondary schools.

Two bursaries of $500 CAD each are available to students attending a Trade school, College, or University. Proof of registration at an accredited Canadian or USA institution is required to accept the awarded funds.

Essay Overview:

In 500 to 1500 word maximum, please select any one of our core values and tell us how that value has shaped your life.

Criteria:

Please include the following in your essay submission:

  • First / Last Name
  • Name of Trade School, College, or University You Are/Plan on Attending
  • Email Address
  • Title for Your Essay Submission
  • A compelling story with at least 500 words but no more than 1500 words about the topic described above

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited Trade School, College, or University to be considered to receive the scholarship award. Please submit your proof of enrollment with your essay submission.

Applicants must submit the essay and other required information. Cut off for entries are:

  • May 31st, 2023 for bursary 1 – WINNER: Jamie Johnston, with her essay on relationships titled, The little things in life…
  • December 31st, 2023 for bursary 2

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the deadline for submission?
Applications must be received no later than May 31st, 2023 for bursary 1 and December 31st, 2023 for our second bursary.

When will the winners be selected and notified?
A winners will be selected and notified no later than July 1st, 2023 for the first bursary.  The second will be notified by Febraury 1, 2024.

Who is eligible to receive the scholarship award?
You must be enrolled within the Trade School, College, or University program and provide proof of enrollment and certificate or degree plan to be considered for the scholarship contest.

Each entry will be reviewed and considered if all the criteria and eligibility requirements are met.

What is the best email to send the application to?
You can use scholarship@grminc.ca to send all your information to.  Once you’ve submitted your details please do not follow up.

How many winners will be selected for this scholarship contest?
We will choose two winners (2) with our scholarship contest and will be contacted either by telephone or email.

The winners will also be announced on our website at the conclusion of our campaign. Due to the high volume of submissions, please do not inquire about the status of any submissions.
